You've been around too, for a cat that's 10 years my junior! No...I don't know Sonny or any of his Tribe! I did enjoy reading Hunter S. Thompson's book about the Angels, though. I'd like to find a copy somewhere. Do you remember Mort Sahl? Lenny Bruce? These were some of the subterranean "beat" types that I grooved on in the late 50's, early 60's. Drinkin' Espresso with sad chicks with white lipstick while some 3-chord joker sings folk songs through the sweet smoke!
Maybe you're right about keepin' the Savage in the closet for some day when I feel nuts!
